Backoffice raised €150k in Pre-Seed funding to expand its hospitality management platform across Europe. The investment comes from FIRSTPICK and Lost Astronaut. The Vilnius-based company plans to use the capital to scale its product outside of its home market.
The startup provides a centralised platform for restaurants, cafes, and hotels to manage daily operations. The software handles staff scheduling, shift swaps, and payroll tracking while providing a unified dashboard for multi-location venue owners. By digitising these workflows, the company aims to replace manual processes typically managed via spreadsheets and generic messaging apps.
Founded in 2025, the platform already serves more than 40 locations in Lithuania, including several high-profile restaurants such as Džiaugsmas and Pacai. The system integrates local compliance features, such as automated working time records and digital contract signatures, specifically tailored to regional labour laws and GDPR requirements.
As hospitality businesses face persistent staff shortages and rising costs, the shift toward vertical SaaS solutions reflects a growing appetite for operational efficiency in Europe’s physical service sectors.
