Factorial banked €138M ($150M) Series D funding led by Alpha Wave Global to expand its workforce management platform. Mubadala Investment Company also participated in the round, which reportedly values the Barcelona-headquartered firm at €2.3B ($2.5B).
The company provides a comprehensive HR software suite specifically designed for small and medium-sized enterprises. Its platform automates core administrative tasks including payroll processing, time tracking, recruitment workflows and performance management. By consolidating these functions into a single interface, the system replaces fragmented spreadsheets and manual paper processes for businesses with 10 to 1,000 employees.
The new capital is earmarked for further product development, with a specific focus on integrating automated features that assist managers in data-driven decision-making. Factorial intends to use the funding to deepen its market presence in Europe and the Americas, building on its existing footprint across Spain, the UK, Germany, Italy, France and Mexico.
This latest investment demonstrates the continued appetite for mature HR tech platforms that solve operational complexity for the mid-market, a segment often underserved by enterprise-grade legacy systems. Factorial remains one of Spain's most significant software exports as the region's venture ecosystem produces increasingly large late-stage rounds.
