Quanscient raises €10M Series A for cloud-based quantum simulation

Quanscient banked €10M in Series A funding to scale its cloud-based multiphysics simulation platform. The round was co-led by Danish quantum investment firm 55 North and Austrian industrial investor B&C Group. Existing backers Maki.vc, Crowberry Capital, QAI Ventures, and First Fellow Partners also participated in the raise.

The Tampere-based startup develops software that allows engineers to run complex physics simulations in the cloud rather than on traditional local hardware. By making simulation code-driven and scalable, the platform enables the generation of massive datasets required to train AI models in hardware engineering. The technology is currently utilised by industrial firms across Europe, North America, and Japan for research and development in sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and nuclear fusion.

The company claims its architecture can deliver simulations up to 100 times faster than legacy tools, significantly reducing the need for expensive physical prototyping. Beyond standard cloud computing, Quanscient is also developing quantum algorithms to solve high-complexity physics problems that remain computationally prohibitive for classical systems. The new capital will be used to advance this unified platform of simulation, quantum, and AI integration while driving international expansion.

As industrial R&D shifts toward digital twins, Quanscient’s focus on high-fidelity synthetic data generation positions Finland as a critical hub for the next generation of physics-aware artificial intelligence.
