A former Red Bull Formula One engineer’s startup, Munich-based Microagi, just landed Germany’s biggest seed round ever, $55m to teach factory robots using footage of people doing chores. Paris-based Mistral had an even bigger day, closing a €3bn round that puts it on track to become Europe’s most valuable AI company.

  • Paris-based Mistral is in talks to raise €3bn Series D at a €20bn valuation to scale its open AI models and infrastructure, more than doubling its valuation from €11.7bn in September 2025, with the company on track to surpass €1bn ARR this year. Read more here.

  • Berlin-based Omio agreed to acquire Rail Europe, a 90-year-old ticketing platform, consolidating ground-transport inventory and creating a platform selling 22M+ train tickets annually across 70+ countries and 28,000+ operators. Read more here.
