London-based Odyssey became the UK’s latest AI unicorn after raising $310m at a $1.45bn valuation. It was also a big day for the technology behind AI, with Dutch chip company Nearfield Instruments raising $380m to expand its semiconductor inspection technology. In Italy, Milan-based Domyn was selected to lead an initiative to build an AI model across all 24 official EU languages.
