London is the first UK city where an Uber ride can now show up as a self-driving car, after Wayve and Uber launched supervised autonomous rides using Wayve’s AI Driver technology, still with a safety driver on board for now. Amsterdam-based Wonderful also raised $550m, more than doubling its valuation to $5bn just six months after its last round, as it expands its AI agent platform to over 35 markets.
