Invertix banked €1.7M in a Pre-Seed funding round led by Vireo Ventures. The investment is earmarked for the deployment of specialized AI agents designed to automate administrative and operational workflows within the renewable energy sector.
The Berlin-based startup develops "AI workers" that handle time-consuming tasks for energy companies, such as processing grid connection applications, managing technical documentation, and navigating complex regulatory requirements. By automating these back-office functions, the platform aims to reduce the soft costs and bureaucratic delays associated with solar and wind project development.
As Germany and the wider EU target aggressive decarbonisation goals, the demand for rapid infrastructure deployment has highlighted a significant bottleneck in skilled labour and administrative capacity. Invertix positions its software to fill this gap by allowing existing teams to scale project volumes without proportional increases in headcount.
The deal reflects a growing trend in European cleantech where investment is shifting toward software layers that optimise the deployment of physical assets, moving beyond hardware manufacturing to solve the logistical hurdles of the energy transition.
