LawX raises €7.5M Seed round for German legal AI platform

LawX banked €7.5M in Seed funding led by Motive Partners. The investment round also saw participation from WENVEST Capital and xdeck.

The Munich-based startup develops an operating system tailored for German law firms and notaries. Its platform uses generative AI to automate administrative workflows and document processing, specifically addressing the technical and regulatory requirements of the German legal sector.

The capital is earmarked for product development and expanding the engineering team as the company scales its software across the DACH region. The founders aim to digitise the heavily manual processes that still dominate traditional legal practices in Germany.

As European legal services face increasing pressure to modernize, vertical AI solutions designed for specific national jurisdictions are becoming a central pillar of the region's enterprise software growth.
