Paypercut banked €5M Seed funding to grow its payments infrastructure across Central and Eastern Europe. The Sofia-based fintech startup intends to use the capital to accelerate its product roadmap and introduce new merchant checkout solutions.
The company provides a payments platform that currently supports more than 200 merchants. Its operations span eight markets, positioning the firm as a regional specialist in local payment processing and merchant services.
Founded by Gareth Walsh, Stoil Vasilev, and Emil Savov, the startup focuses on simplifying transactional flows for businesses operating in high-growth CEE economies. The fresh injection of capital will facilitate further regional expansion as the company scales its headcount and technical capabilities.
This round highlights the continued maturation of the Bulgarian fintech ecosystem, where local players are increasingly securing mid-sized rounds to consolidate their presence across fragmented regional markets.
