Zerops secures €1.7M seed round to scale global cloud platform

Zerops banked €1.7M in a seed round led by Gi21 Capital. The Prague-based startup is targeting the cloud infrastructure market with a fresh approach to architecture, aiming to bridge the gap between development environments and final production stages.

The company provides a platform-as-a-service (PaaS) that enables developers to build and deploy applications without the overhead of traditional infrastructure management. By automating scaling and maintenance, the technology allows engineering teams to focus on code rather than server configuration.

Management intends to use the capital to scale its physical infrastructure across North America and Asia. Key milestones on the roadmap include the launch of a new data centre in Singapore and the expansion of its core engineering and product teams to support a growing global user base.

The deal reflects the continued strengthening of the Czech deep-tech ecosystem, where local founders are increasingly securing capital to export infrastructure software to international markets.
