London's Top AI companies
London is flying in the age of AI. Nearly 50% of all European VC is flowing into the UK.

Here are the companies that I would join if I was looking for a job today.

1. Ineffable Intelligence — $1.1bn seed (Apr 2026; co-led by Sequoia and Lightspeed, with Nvidia and Google) at $5.1bn — Europe's largest-ever seed; DeepMind's David Silver building AI that learns from experience toward "superintelligence".

2. Recursive Superintelligence — $650M (May 2026; led by GV and Greycroft, with AMD and Nvidia) at $4.65bn; self-improving AI that automates the research loop (SF + London).

3. ElevenLabs — $500M Series D (Feb 2026, led by Sequoia; a16z, ICONIQ) at $11bn; market-leading voice/audio AI.

4. Synthesia — ~$200M Series E (Jan 2026, led by Google Ventures) at $4bn; AI-avatar video generation for enterprise.

5. Nscale — $2bn Series C (Mar 2026; Nvidia, Nokia, Dell, Aker) after a $1.1bn Series B; AI datacentre and GPU-compute infrastructure. The extended list
