Sequoia Capital has spent the past two years pouring money into a new generation of AI and software companies across Europe and the US, and many of them are now scaling their teams fast. From billion-dollar research labs to lean procurement startups, here are ten Sequoia-backed companies worth watching if you're looking for your next role. For each, here's a quick look at what they do and roughly how much they've raised.
1. Edra
Edra builds AI agents that automate enterprise processes, turning a company's operational data and knowledge into self-improving agents that can run real workflows. Founded by ex-Palantir veterans, it emerged from stealth in 2026 with a Sequoia-led round. It has raised roughly $30 million (a Series A led by Sequoia, alongside 8VC and A*).
2. Magentic
Magentic deploys AI agents ("AI teammates") for procurement and supply-chain teams, hunting for savings in a world of tariff-hit, volatile supply chains. The UK startup is Sequoia-backed and part of the Arc 2024 cohort. It has raised roughly $5.5 million in its launch round.
3. Ineffable Intelligence
Ineffable Intelligence is the new AI research lab from DeepMind veteran David Silver, aiming to build a self-learning "superlearner" that improves without relying on human data. It made headlines with one of Europe's largest-ever seed rounds. It has raised roughly $1.1 billion in seed funding, at a reported $5.1 billion valuation, with Sequoia co-leading alongside Nvidia and Google.
4. Reflection AI
Reflection AI is building autonomous AI systems, starting with coding agents and expanding toward frontier models — positioning itself as an open frontier AI lab. Sequoia backed it in 2024. It has raised roughly $2 billion (a Series B in late 2025), bringing its total funding to well over $2 billion.
5. n8n
n8n is a workflow and AI automation platform aimed at technical teams, letting them orchestrate tools and AI models with a flexible, "fair-code" approach. Sequoia has backed the company since 2020. It has raised roughly $250 million+ in total, including a $180 million Series C in 2025 that valued it at around $2.5 billion.

8. STARK
STARK develops autonomous defence systems and software, including AI-powered battlefield drones — part of Europe's fast-growing defence-tech wave. It has raised roughly $600 million in total, headlined by a large round in 2026 led by Sequoia and Founders Fund that valued the company above €3.5 billion.
9. Tacto
Tacto builds AI-powered procurement and supply-chain technology aimed at mid-market manufacturers, helping industrial companies manage suppliers, disruptions, and compliance. Sequoia and Index Ventures backed it early. It has raised roughly €100 million (around $110 million) in total across its rounds.
10. Pydantic
Pydantic provides developer infrastructure and tooling for Python and AI agents, built on the hugely popular open-source data-validation library, now commercialized through cloud services like its Logfire observability platform. Sequoia backed it in 2023. It has raised roughly $17 million in total (a seed round followed by a Series A)
