Davis raises €4.6M pre-seed for AI-driven architectural generation

Davis banked €4.6M in a pre-seed round led by Heartcore Capital and Balderton Capital. The investment includes participation from Yellow, Evantic, and Entrepreneurs First, alongside angel backers from high-profile AI and infrastructure firms including Hugging Face, Black Forest Labs, and Supabase.

The Paris-based company develops AI models designed to automate early-stage real estate development and architectural design. Its core technology, recently unveiled as the Gaudi-1 model, generates architectural outputs such as volumetrics, floor plans, and space planning. The system processes regulatory, technical, and market data to ensure designs meet real-world constraints while maintaining a human-in-the-loop verification process for each project.

Co-founders Mehdi Rais and Amine Chraibi launched the startup to address fragmented workflows in the built environment. By integrating site analysis with automated conceptual design, the company aims to reduce the time required for feasibility studies from months to days. This approach allows developers to assess site constraints and potential return on investment via a single digital process.

As specialized generative models move beyond text and 2D imagery into complex spatial engineering, France continues to consolidate its position as a primary hub for Europe’s deep-tech and foundation-model research.
