Innovorder banked €20M in a growth round led by UL Invest, the family office of technology entrepreneur Laurent Useldinger. The round involves a mix of fresh capital and a buyout of shares from earlier investors. Evolem, a Lyon-based family office that first invested in 2019, remains a shareholder in the business.
The Paris-based company provides a cloud-native SaaS platform designed to digitise restaurant operations. Its software covers the full front-office stack, including point-of-sale systems, self-service kiosks, online ordering, and kitchen production displays. It also manages back-office tasks such as reporting and customer loyalty programmes through an AI-driven tool called Atlas.
Innovorder focuses on both commercial and contract catering, serving sectors such as schools, hospitals, and transport hubs. It currently supports prominent catering players including Sodexo and Elior, as well as commercial brands like Amorino. The firm reports it has already reached profitability and plans to use the new funds for geographic expansion across Europe and targeted acquisitions.
As outdated legacy IT systems in the European catering market face increasing pressure, cloud-native platforms are capturing the demand for integrated, data-led operational management.
