DDD Invoices banked €1.31M in a Seed round to expand its API-driven infrastructure for global e-invoicing compliance. The investment features participation from Fil Rouge Capital and 500 Global, alongside a group of angel investors and advisors with backgrounds at IFS, Pagero, and Tickstar.
The Ljubljana-based startup provides a unified API that connects financial software and SaaS platforms to tax portals worldwide. As governments increasingly mandate Continuous Transactions Control (CTC) and real-time validation, the platform abstracts the complexity of varying local formats and submission rules, routing invoice data to the appropriate national tax systems or networks like Peppol.
Beyond its core API, the company offers native integrations for platforms including Stripe, Shopify, and Chargebee. It also employs document processing to extract structured data from PDF invoices. Current clients include Access Group and Zenoti, who use the service to maintain compliance across multiple jurisdictions without building bespoke country-by-country integrations.
As digital tax enforcement becomes the standard across the European Union, the demand for cross-border middleware is turning local regulatory hurdles into a significant market for specialised fintech infrastructure.
