Lune & Wild secures €2.3M to expand premium children’s food brand

Lune & Wild banked €2.3M (£2 million) in a Series A funding round to scale its children’s nutrition business. Guinness Ventures led the investment, with participation from health expert Dr. Rupy Aujla and Doug Struthers, the former MD of Ella’s Kitchen. The round also drew support from existing backers including Charlie Gardiner and Siân Parry Jones.

The London-based startup produces organic baby and children’s meals developed by chefs and paediatric dietitians. Its recipes focus on nutrient density and ingredient provenance, source meat from high-welfare farms and produce from Soil Association-certified suppliers. The brand sells through a direct-to-consumer platform and high-end retail channels, including a recent listing on Ocado.

Founded in 2021 by cousins Lara Rodgers and Nadia Simonds, the company has reported doubling its revenue every year since inception. Over the last 12 months, the business states it has sold more than one million meals. The team currently consists of 30 staff and has recently strengthened its board by appointing Mike Hedges, the former CEO of Little Moons.

The fresh capital is earmarked for increasing production capacity and accelerating the brand's retail expansion across the UK. It reflects a growing investor appetite for premium, health-orientated consumer goods that target the "clean label" demands of modern parents.
