The London-based startup develops an enterprise AI platform designed to manage complex software maintenance and documentation. While standard AI assistants typically focus on generating new code snippets, Kodesage addresses the "logic debt" within large-scale legacy systems. The technology maps existing codebases to automate documentation and assist engineers in understanding how disparate parts of an enterprise's software architecture interact.
Founded by Adit Singh, the company targets the significant overhead costs associated with technical debt and engineer onboarding in large organisations. Singh, who previously worked on AI infrastructure at Microsoft and Google, intends to use the capital to scale the engineering team and accelerate product development for early enterprise partners.
As European enterprises race to integrate generative tools, the focus is shifting from generic chat interfaces toward specialised infrastructure capable of interpreting proprietary, long-standing codebases.
